PhD in Sociology from the Indian Institute of
Technology, New Delhi. His doctoral thesis explored the
educational
 and
occupational mobility and experience of the historically
marginalised. Before joining CPRHE he worked at
Santhigiri Social Research Institute, Thiruvananthapuram,
Kerala. He has published articles in various journals
and presented papers at conferences. His current
research focuses on access and equity in higher
