Neelam Sood is a Professor of Early Childhood
Development at the National University of Educational Planning and Administration, New Delhi. Prior to her
current role, she served as a Deputy Director of
Preschool Education at the National Institute of Public
Cooperation and Child Development for 12 years. She has
authored 4 books in the field of School Education and
allied areas, served on the faculty of Punjab University
and Haryana Agriculture University, and taught at the
University of Wyoming as a Fulbright Scholar in the
United States. Specializing in Child Development, Prof. Sood's other areas of work include Teacher Education,
Health & Nutrition, Gender and Inclusion in Education.
