Dr.
Rajvir Singh Tyagi, Ph. D (Economics), is presently
working as Associate Professor in the Department
 of
Educational Administration, specializes in
organizational and management issues of educational
administration. He has conducted empirical and
grassroots level research studies on School-based
Instructional Supervision and Managing Quality in
Secondary Schools, Recent Trends in Educational
Administration, besides, published state-wise studies on
educational administration in India and also co-editor
of the book entitled Governance of School Education in
India. His books on ‘Administration and Management in
School Education’ and School-based Instructional
Supervision for Quality Management in Secondary Schools
are the recent publications. He organizes training
programmes for heads of government and private senior
secondary schools, district and block level education
officers on management development in leadership in
educational administration, institutional planning and
management, institutional building and school-based
instructional supervision and professional development.
He has presented papers in national and international
seminars and conferences on education and also published
a number of research papers on different aspects of
educational administration and management in various
reputed national and international Journals like
COMPARE. He is involved in the various Committees at the
University level and also course in-charge for teaching
Ph. D and M. Phil students. |
