Ph.D ( Education) from Jamia Millia Islamia, New Delhi; recipient of Gold Medal in Post Graduation (Education) from University of Jammu; Alumni of East West Center, Honolulu, USA; working extensively on critical issues in School and Tertiary levels of Education, Adult Literacy and Educational Management; Published work stands on the strong foundations of empirical researches she has been conducting broadly in the domains of Educational Leadership, School-Based Management and Supervision, Quality of Primary Education, Improving quality of Researches in School Education, Internationalization of Higher Education, Learning for Sustainable Development in the Global World and several others;  Author of four books: Leadership Behaviour and Value Patterns Among School Principals, Dynamic School Leadership; Improving Quality of Educational Research and co edited a volume with Prof R Govinda on Community Participation and Empowerment in Primary Education. At present working in the area of policy research.
