Ph.D. (Economics of Education) from the Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi; received training in educational planning from the International Institute for Educational Planning (IIEP), Paris, France; specializes in economics of education, decentralized planning in education, project planning, and school mapping and micro planning; has authored/co-authored three books on ‘Theories of Labour Market Segmentation’, ‘Education, Employment and Women’, and ‘School Mapping’; has published articles in reputed journals; and has developed training materials on school mapping and district planning in education, including the module on ‘Planning for Implementation’.
